DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Works on ongoing automation projects to develop and implement new solutionsConsiders and provides inputs to the automation lab on how much investment (time, resources) are required to develop a solution to the core process in questionCompletes project plans to meet customer deadlinesWorks collaboratively with other developers in an ever-changing landscape of methods (Kanban, Agile, Feature Driven, Lean, Scrum) and tools in order to address each project efficiently and effectivelyAddresses barriers/roadblocks quickly and utilizes critical thinking to develop solutions and workaroundsComprehends technical requirements and documentation of core operational processes and build digital solutions to address manual touch pointsTranslates customer needs, documented requirements, and process maps into well-designed automation solutionsEnsures solutions meet business needs and requirementsUses structured problem solving to address the root cause of inefficiency and friction points within our operational processesBuilds solutions to address core problem with network scalability in mindAccountable for the stability of the solutions built within the automation lab and assist in the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of established automation solutionsAnalyzes and tests current processes and systems to determine effectiveness and efficiencyDeconstructs existing solutions and incorporate them into established and approved tools and libraries of automationsCrafts clear documentation on how to setup and execute the solutions builtEstablishes monitoring of automation solutions to identify errors as well as track ROI of each solutionOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirementsQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Minimum 3 years of professional experiencePrevious development experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.Previous programming experience; designing technical solutions experienceExperience (or expertise) developing in one or more of the following: Microsoft Power Platform, Python, JavaScript, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, SQLUp to 5% travel may be required (domestic and/or international)Preferred:
Advanced technical degree / certificationExperience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or TransportationExperience in developing scripts or automation solutionsExposure or experience in a Lean / Agile methodologyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsExperience with Artificial Intelligence / LLMCertification in Microsoft Power Platform or other automation toolsAbility to learn new technical languages and tools and understand where and when to apply themAbility to grasp business processes and construct solutions to assist operations personnel through reducing or eliminating manual interactions with the processAbility to deconstruct processes into component parts and replicate them into a digital formStrong problem solving / process improvement capabilityCapable of grasping business and technical issues and come up with smart, logical solutionsWillingness to offer alternative solutions to a problem and stretch capabilities in order to solve the core problemHighly analytical with the ability to synthesize business situations down to their quantitative essenceAbility to communicate complex solutions in a simple and concise mannerStrong listener with the ability to read between the lines and confidence to ask clarifying questionsValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentDisclaimer:
