Automation Solutions Developer - RPA

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Work on ongoing automation projects to create new digital solutions

Provide inputs on required time and resources for automation solutions

Complete project plans and deliver solutions within customer timelines

Work collaboratively with developers using various methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Agile, Scrum) to deliver efficient solutions

Address roadblocks quickly and develop workarounds using critical thinking.

Understand technical documentation and operational processes to build automation solutions.

Convert customer requirements and process maps into well-designed automation solutions

Verify that solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Use structured problem-solving to address inefficiencies and friction points in processes.

Develop automation with scalability and network optimization in mind.

Ensure stability of solutions and assist in ongoing maintenance and support.

Test current systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Deconstruct and incorporate existing solutions into approved libraries and tools.

Create clear setup and execution documentation for automation solutions.

Establish monitoring systems to track errors and measure ROI.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience

Previous experience with reporting analytics and data (SQL)

Previous programming experience; designing technical solutions experience

Experience (or expertise) developing in the following: Power Automate, Auto Hotkey, UiPath, SQL

Strong problem-solving/process improvement capability

Capable of grasping business and technical issues and come up with smart, logical solutions

Willingness to offer alternative solutions to a problem and stretch capabilities in order to solve the core problem

Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize business situations down to their quantitative essence

Ability to communicate complex solutions in a simple and concise manner

Strong listener with the ability to read between the lines and confidence to ask clarifying questions

Preferred:

Advanced technical degree/certification

Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation

Experience in developing scripts or automation solutions

Exposure or experience in a Lean/Agile methodology

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Certification in UiPath

Ability to learn new technical languages and tools and understand where and when to apply them

Ability to grasp business processes and construct solutions to assist operations personnel through reducing or eliminating manual interactions with the process

Ability to deconstruct processes into component parts and replicate them into a digital form

Up to 5% travel may be required (domestic and/or international)
