Automation Systems Technician
Job Description -The Automation Systems Technician position is to be the in-house resource for the operation, maintenance and repair of the automated packaging systems Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Setting up robotics which includes changing robot positions in the program, adjusting movements, setting up the end of arm-tool, etc -Teaching the vision systems to reject the defects and setting them up for multiple parameters, contrast, measurements such as height, diameter, measure threads, detecting contamination. - Leak Detector setting up mechanically and changing parameters. -Sets up new robot application for automated packaging. - Conveyers adjusting the rails across the whole length of the conveyer. -Performs general maintenance & repairs on automation equipment (robots, leak detectors and vision systems). - Setup, trouble shoot and debug new automation applications. Skills and Requirements - 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent on the job training. - Must have experience setting up, troubleshooting, and repairing automation machinery in an industrial manufacturing setting - Experience with leak detectors, vision systems, conveyors, and/or robotics - Must be able to maintain focus on multiple duties, prioritize, and adjust schedule as necessary. - Plastic Manufacturing experience - 1+ year of PLC experience. - Steel toed boots null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
