Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $45-70/hourLocation: Pecos, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: 5/2 - 10 hour daysBenefits: Comprehensive insurance , 401(k), Holidays and PTO Responsibilities Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems in company operated facilities and wellsMonitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems and controlsCoordinate with contractors for the maintenance of VRU’s, combustors and flare systems.
Familiar with various Burner managements systems a plusTroubleshoot and maintain existing emissions control systems, while also overseeing the installation and implementation of new emissions control systemsMaintains good working relationships with various groups including production, water groups, and facilities engineeringPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure reliable and efficient operationsPerform the installation and configuration of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal unit (RTU), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)Assist in the testing and commissioning of new control systems. Read and interpret technical documentation including electrical and pneumatic schematics, control narratives and loop drawingsEnsure collaboration with other automation team members and cross-function teams to resolve technical issuesBe willing to continually improve professional development including non-technical subjects such as, but not limited to, business communications, problem solving, corporate culture Qualifications 5-7 plus years of experience in automation5+ years’ experience in Oil and GasMust have experience with ROCLink, IDEC, ABB, SCADAPak, or other PLC’s and SignalFire wirelessHMI experience requiredField communications experience with Cambium, Cradle Point and advanced skill in TCP/IP and MODBUS communicationsMust be highly organized and able to self-direct, multi-task and prioritize based on dynamic work environment requirementsStrong application skills in Excel and Word requiredElevated level of communication skills in both written and spoken formatHigh School Diploma required
