Automation Technician
Job Title: Electrical Automation Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Technician. This role focuses on the electrical aspects of custom automated packaging machines. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical experience specific to automated equipment, including panel wiring, troubleshooting, and more. Responsibilities + Perform electrical panel wiring and electrical troubleshooting on automated equipment. + Conduct I/O checkouts, point-to-point wiring, machine check-outs, and power-ups. + Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). + Troubleshoot PLCs (nice to have). + Eventually engage in all-encompassing machine building activities, including electro-mechanical tasks, if converted to a full-time employee. Essential Skills + 3+ years' experience with panel wiring and interpreting electrical schematics. + 3+ years' experience with electrical troubleshooting activities related to automated equipment. + Experience with I/O checkouts, point-to-point wiring, machine check-outs, and power-ups. + Ability to bring and use personal tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate degree in Automated Systems and Robotics is preferred. + 1+ years' experience troubleshooting PLCs is nice to have. + Ability to read and interpret SolidWorks prints is nice to have. + Strong mechanical aptitude is nice to have. + Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% in the future. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
