Job Title: Automation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our teamThis role involves working closely with Automation Engineers to ensure that equipment is operating according to specificationsThe successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, start-up, and programming of automated equipment and upgradesResponsibilitiesWork closely with Automation Engineers to ensure existing equipment is running in accordance to specificationsTroubleshoot, debug, start-up, and program automated equipment and upgradesServe as the technical expert for electrical circuits, program logic controls, vision inspection, and automationCoordinate the development and maintenance of effective maintenance specifications and preventative maintenance programsParticipate in the design of automated machines, equipment, systems, devices, and fixturesRecommend equipment improvements and manufacturing methodsAssist maintenance personnel with diagnosing software and electrical system problemsSupport maintenance with equipment repairs in the event of a failureCollaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering to optimize equipment performanceAssist in executing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for equipment changesMaintain flexibility for off-shift availability and representationEssential Skills2+ years of experience as an Automation Technician working on controlsDemonstrated oral and written communication skills; customer-focusedUnderstanding of manufacturing, assembly, sequencing, and equipment principlesFamiliar with HMI and able to diagnose issues by connecting a laptopProficient in PLC programming, particularly with RSLogixExperience with troubleshooting electrical systems, wiring, and making minor adjustmentsAble to read blueprints and schematicsCapable of low voltage wiring (120V) and resolving wiring issues in panelsShifts

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00
