Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Description

This role is the final step before shipping equipment to ensure all systems are fully functional. The Automation Technician will test system functionality, review PLC codes, verify pump and valve operations, and troubleshoot programming issues.

ResponsibilitiesTest the functionality of automation systemsReview and ensure the accuracy of PLC codesVerify that all pumps and valves are operating correctly and communicating with the machineTroubleshoot and resolve programming issuesPerform testing on industrial equipmentWork with schematics to ensure correct setup and operationEssential SkillsExperience in automationProficiency in PLC programmingStrong troubleshooting skillsExperience with industrial equipment testingAbility to read and understand schematics3+ years of experience with troubleshooting PLCs3+ years of experience with testing industrial equipment3+ years of experience working with industrial or capex equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in Automation, Controls, or Electrical EngineeringInterest in progressing to a programming or electrical engineering roleWork Environment

The Automation Technician will work from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, completing four 10-hour days each week. The start time can be earlier if desired.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00
