Automation Technician
**Job Description** The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance while developing strategic plans for various automation projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align automation solutions with our business objectives. **If interested, please apply and an internal recruiter named Jordan will reach out to you within 24-48 hours.** **Responsibilities** + Clearly communicate recurring issues and routine pass down information. + Lead training sessions to enhance team skills and ensure appropriate staffing. + Inspect work post-repair or maintenance to ensure compliance with dimensional requirements. + Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvements. + Serve as a liaison between the automation team and upper management, providing project updates. + Resolve undefined issues during IPQC and escalate as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Extensive knowledge in automation equipment. + 5+ years of experience in automation, PLC programming, robotics, and equipment repair. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and editing; programming is a bonus. + Experience with robotics (Fanuc & Epson). + Vision systems and cameras troubleshooting in a manufacturing equipment setting. + Maintenance of electrical systems (240/480 volt, single or 3 phase, and DC 24 Volt systems, frequency drives, load cells, power distribution, motors, controls). + Maintenance of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, belts, gear boxes, and pneumatic systems). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with building assemblies from blueprints. + Experience working on electrical panels and wiring. + Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints. + Experience in production with the ability to monitor processes and identify defects. + Proficiency in using multiple measuring devices and electrical tools. + Proficiency in using test and measurement tools such as multimeters and calipers. + Strong understanding of electronic and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting. + Commitment to safety procedures, including OSHA Lock Out/Tag Out requirements. + Excellent organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. **Why Work Here?** Majority of the people here started in entry roles and are now managers, showcasing internal promotion opportunities as the company grows. The primary work location is at the Pinnacle Peak site, but travel may be required to the other two facilities in Deer Valley and North Scottsdale. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
