Location: Midland, TXCompensation: $55/hourAssignment Duration: 6 months+Schedule: M-F / 7AM-4:30PM / OT as neededBenefits: Comprehensive benefits with 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Commission control systems, validate control loops, confirm functionality of control logic, configure end devicesMake program changes to PLCs and HMIsTest alarms and ensure the control system is aligned with engineering documentation and red-line documents for As-Built corrections. Gauge production on assigned wells, and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district officeNote problems and/or recommend courses of action to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase productionAssist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; and test safety systems daily to maximize daily productionPerform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor which are unique to the assigned geographic area Qualifications Minimum Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or trainingMaintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the companyMinimum 5 years of work related oilfield experience
Specific experiencein in the installation and maintenance of automation communication network infrastructure, as well as PI and HMI integration, preferredMust have a mechanical aptitudeHas a solid understanding of utilizing horsepower and compressionAble to troubleshoot equipment failures.  Strong experience in I&E troubleshooting
