Job Description
Responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating highly custom automated equipment, including Lasers Operations, Robotic Brake Presses, Robotic Welders, or CNC Punches. This role aims to maximize the quality, output, and efficiency of our manufacturing process through continuous improvement ideas. Working with Engineering, Maintenance, and Leadership, the Automation Technician will identify and resolve complex production issues and improvement opportunities. Additionally, this position involves training operators and helpers on equipment operation and performing preventative maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and program equipment.Document setup procedures clearly to facilitate future training and standardization.Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.Continuously learn new automation machines and processes, including attending training/schooling from machine suppliers.Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.Assist with training production staff, supervisors, and other automation technicians on the use and setup of equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fabrication shop/manufacturing work environment utilizing automation.Advanced knowledge and programming abilities in at least one of the following machines: Laser Operations, Robotic Brake Presses, Robotic Welders, and CNC Punches.Develop and utilize advanced troubleshooting and mechanical skills to support maintenance, fabrication, and welding teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to program machines.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
