**Automation Technician - Located in Crestline, OH** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our maintenance department on the 3rd shift. This is a long-term contract position through Aerotek, aimed at maintaining operations for an automotive manufacturer located near Mansfield, OH. The position would be 3rd shift role, 11PM to 7:30AM, Sun (night) through Fri (morning). **Pay:** $50-60+ / hour; OT paid at 1.5x of base rate for hours worked, past 40 total in Sunday - Saturday pay period. **Additional Pay/benefits:** + one week of PTO with 1st year + 9 paid holidays + Medical, dental, vision + weekly pay **Immediately Interested Candidates** are encouraged to apply to this posting **** **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical troubleshooting in the assigned manufacturing area, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs, Servos, and robotics to minimize downtime. + Manage machine vision systems. + Collaborate with team members to complete continuous improvement activities utilizing Six Sigma methodologies. + Assist with HMI troubleshooting, upgrading, and installing. + Undertake project work, including robot and PLC upgrades, and equipment upgrades. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Work Environment** This role is based in a large glass manufacturing facility. The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The facility currently employs 390 full-time employees, with the maintenance department consisting of 20 technicians. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $70.00/hr.
