Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Automation Test Engineer to support the ongoing modernization and maintenance of CBP information systems, using JAVA/JEE. What you will do Writing and Maintaining Automation Scripts: Developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium for regression, functional, and smoke testing Test Execution and Reporting: Running automated tests, analyzing results, and generating test reports to identify defects, providing feedback to the development team Collaborating with Developers: Communicating with developers to understand new features, discuss test cases, and troubleshoot automation script failures or bugs Improving Test Automation Frameworks: Continuously improving and optimizing the test automation framework, ensuring it's scalable, maintainable, and supports new features or changes in the application What you need to have Bachelor's Degree in IT field and 2 to 5 years of experience Selenium Expertise: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and creating automation scripts in languages like Java, Python, or C# Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) and experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest Test Automation Frameworks: Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Page Object Model) Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git for version control and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins Web Technologies & API Testing: Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for web elements and experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured What we'd like you to have Developing 100% automating unit tests Agile development approach Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight-deadline environment Superior written and oral communication skills are essential Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
