Our client, a leader in financial sector, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Automation Test Engineer
**Location:** San Leandro, CA - 5 days onsite per week
**Pay Range:** Best in the segment on W2
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct manual testing of hardware devices to ensure quality and functionality.
+ Write and maintain test automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
+ Utilize Selenium and Postman for automation testing development.
+ Perform hands-on troubleshooting and validation of hardware devices.
+ Document software and firmware function validation processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ A minimum of 4 years of experience in information technology.
+ Proven experience in manual testing of hardware devices.
+ Strong skills in MySQL and Oracle databases.
+ Experience in writing test automation scripts.
+ A solid understanding of business and financial applications is desirable.
