The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation using open-source tools and will be responsible for leading our automation testing efforts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage the automation testing team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. + **Actively participate in the development and implementation of comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks tailored to P&C insurance applications.** + **Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts using open-source tools, ensuring hands-on involvement in all stages of the automation process.** + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test automation solutions. + Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of automated test scripts. + Identify and resolve issues related to test automation and continuously improve the automation process. + Conduct regular reviews and updates of test automation scripts to ensure they remain effective and relevant. + Provide detailed reports on test automation progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders. + Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and P&C insurance. **Required Skills/Qualifications:** + 8+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in a lead role. + 2+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry. + Proficiency in using open-source automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. + Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. + Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. + Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. + Familiarity with performance testing and security testing. + Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools. **Education:** + Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. **The benefits our employees enjoy:** + 401(k) Savings Plan- Matched 150% up to 6%.
