Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop course materials and handle content delivery for technical training for customers, either in classroom or on-site. Each day, you will be responsible for post-training activities such as course feedback collection, possible corrective actions on course materials and equipment, etc. You will also showcase your expertise by guaranteeing excellent customer service and securing high level of customer satisfaction through trainings. B&R is seeking a Technical Trainer who plays a crucial role in helping individuals acquire and maintain the knowledge and skills needed to perform effectively in their roles or within their chosen technical field.The work model for the role is: #LI - HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division in Atlanta, GA area.You will be mainly accountable to:•\tDeliver training sessions, workshops, and classes to individuals or groups, both in-person and through online platforms. Provide practical, hands-on training, where applicable, to ensure learners gain the necessary skills and proficiency. Modify training approaches and materials to cater to different learning styles, levels of expertise, and audience requirements. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences.•\tAssist learners in troubleshooting technical issues and problem-solving within the context of the subject matter.•\tCreate and update training materials, courses, and learning resources based on the latest industry standards and technologies. Utilize various teaching tools and technologies, including e-learning platforms, simulation software, and multimedia, to enhance the training experience. And create and update course descriptions and course programs. Take into consideration feedback given on courses and implement corrective action when needed. Share own expertise in service development.•\tIdentify the specific technical training needs of employees or learners and tailor training programs to address those needs effectively. Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the training content aligns with organizational objectives and goals. Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.2+ years of directly related experience.In-depth knowledge and expertise in the specific technical subject matter being taught, such as programming languages, applications, hardware, or other technical domains.Familiarity with instructional design principles and the ability to create effective learning materials.Proficiency in using e-learning platforms, multimedia tools, and other educational technologies.Travel required - 25%Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
