Automation & Transformation Associate - Securities Services Operations

The Securities Services Operations Transformation (SSOT) - Data Analytics & Intelligent Solutions team is a global function within the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB). The team is seeking an Associate to join a large and diverse team of change leads comprised of developers and project managers that centrally drive the Automation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence agenda across the Securities Services business.
As an Automation and Transformation Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving high-impact initiatives that focus on implementing automation and AI/ML-enabled solutions to boost efficiency and align the business with its target operating model. This position requires an associate who can effectively support the development of these initiatives, primarily utilizing no-code and low-code tools such as Alteryx and Tableau. Additionally, you will gain exposure to AI/ML-enabled tools to further enhance efficiencies and ensure alignment with the business's strategic goals. Your projects may involve data transformation, data visualization, data digitization, process reengineering, and various other initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to innovate with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with operations, product, and technology teams across the organization.
**Job Responsibilities:**
Note: Project opportunities vary, expected responsibilities include:
+ Deliver comprehensive process automation, including design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, while adhering to firm standards and governance.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional experts to develop solutions using intelligent automation tools like Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path, and Instabase.
+ Contribute to the team's automation, tooling, and data strategy in partnership with key stakeholders.
+ Work with technology teams to enhance infrastructure for intelligent automation, facilitating scalability and reducing time-to-market.
+ Ensure compliance of intelligent automation builds with governance standards and risk requirements (e.g., Jira, Data Use Council).
+ Provide reporting, metrics, analytics, and project support to management to ensure timely delivery against OKRs, KPIs, and metrics.
+ Influence technology and product roadmaps to address technical gaps and evolving business needs.
+ Promote scalability, reusability, and design excellence in automation solutions.
+ Offer thought leadership to integrate emerging technologies and industry trends into intelligent automation and data strategies.
+ Apply design thinking to reengineer processes and identify high-impact opportunities for intelligent automation and AI/ML scaling.
+ Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to firmwide training events like innovation expos, solution showcases, and hackathons.
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:**
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial industry, banking operations, or a related field, plus 2 years in developing automation solutions or delivering change.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
+ Advanced proficiency in no-code/low-code digital tools, especially Alteryx and Tableau.
+ Proven success in delivering complex transformation projects.
+ Ability to independently manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating both technical and non-technical information.
+ Proactive in identifying business needs and influencing global stakeholders.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, adept at dissecting complex issues and creating clear solutions.
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:**
+ Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as SQL or Python.
+ Curiosity about modern technologies and awareness of industry-wide trends and best practices.
+ Working knowledge of basic project management competencies, such as the Agile methodology.
