Start Times: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Job Location: Madison, AL

We are currently hiring full time Automotive Assembly Shuttle Driver, you will perform an array of functions under the direction of the Line-Off Supervisor and Team Leader's instructions, this position will conduct safe, efficient vehicle movement and parking as well as to conduct preparations on new factory condition vehicles for various stages of logistics processing.

Job Duties:

Drives new finished-product vehicles to designated locationsDrive and park vehicles per the Transportation & Handling ManualMaintain constant contact with the Team Leader and keep track of pickup and drop-off locations as necessaryBefore driving vehicles, inspect vehicles to ensure that it is damage-free and functioning correctlyRead and understand parking location mapsPrepares vehicles for various stages of processingPerforms tire pressure checks using a hand-held pressure gaugePerforms battery condition checks using hand-held equipmentDrives vehicles on/off conveyorsDrives vehicles to fueling stations and through automated car washes

Work Experience
Completion of a satisfactory background checkSuccessfully pass a Drug TestGood depth perception and hand-eye coordinationAbility to drive both automatic and straight shift vehiclesHold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions

Physical Demands:

The ability to work standing on your feet for long periods of timeClimbing, standing, walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stoopingRegularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs Drive
