Design embedded controls to support diagnostics, functions and features of new and existing products Propose subsystem improvements Design and implement embedded controls algorithms for HVAC Controls products. Identify performance and warranty improvement opportunities Interpret applicable algorithm subsystem requirements Lead design direction and resolve technical issues Interface with other technical resources (client R&D, etc.) Stay current on new technology to contribute to optimum software architecture Coordinate software interfaces Ensure design processes and deadlines are met Improve and promote processes Oversee controls subsystem reviews

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering Controls Engineering. 5 years embedded controls experience. Knowledge of subsystem performance requirements

Preferred Background

MatLab, Simulink, ETAS, Stateflow and Vector Tools C software. Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering
