Automotive Customer Service Rep Apply now » Date: Aug 20, 2024 Location: Reno, NV, US Company: Dorman Products As a Automotive Tech Support Rep for Dorman Products at our Powertrain Industries location, you will be responsible for the complete handling of customer orders and answering technical questions. PRIMARY DUTIES: • Fulfill promises made to customers 100% of the time or notify them of changes • Pro-actively track customer orders to ensure on-time shipping • Handle arrangements for shipment of product • Answer phones providing feedback to customers as requested • Tech line phone support including quality control follow up • Work with material and production groups as needed to alert customers of potential backorders • Ability to learn products, multiple systems and customer portals • Maintain accurate work Instructions as customer requirements or processes change • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Have general automotive parts experience • Have good organizational skills • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor • Ability to handle complaints regarding unpleasant situations or conflicts • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail • Customer Service experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment desired • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Docs • ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment desired
