Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will ensure there are sufficient vehicles available to support all special transportation requirements. You will communicate with the maintenance section regarding vehicles coming out of the maintenance cycle and being returned to service. You will ensure the motor vehicle operators (MVOs) are properly licensed for the vehicles being assigned, and have their license and ID in possession. You will inform the Operations Supervisor/Lead in writing when C-Pool/U-Drive vehicles require cleaning for special occasions. You will act as liaison between customers and SWRFT MVOs to coordinate support, resolve issues, and provide information to ensure the mission is accomplished. You must maintain a daily dispatch record or a trip by trip record of vehicles assigned to SWRFT operators and for vehicles operated by customers. You will be required to monitor phones and email traffic to ensure effective communication with customers, MVOs, other region dispatchers and other personnel as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating transportation activity, dispatching personnel and equipment to meet scheduled and unscheduled vehicle and other equipment requirements. Education Education may be used as a substitute for specialized experience. If education is being used as a substitute for experience, applicants must have: Successfully completed 4 years above high school level education. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels and positions for which both education and experience are acceptable.
