Automotive Human Capital Administrator OEM - Midrand
Responsibilities:
Human Capital Support Function
Administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems Assists with the tracking of departmental and company measurements that support the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals Prepares and maintains reports required to carry out the functions of the Human Capital department Prepares periodic reports for management as required Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary and to represent the department Keeps abreast of HC best practice Monitors labor relations climate and assist Managers with any labor relations matters as per policy and Labor legislation Assist with Travel coordination for Expat welfare Human Capital Information Management
Maintains the HC information database and generates scheduled or requested reports to assist management Updates company organization structures and labor statistics Periodically audits the HC database to ensure accuracy and reliability of information Maintains Associate personal files/records in compliance with legal requirements Payroll, Benefits, Conditions of employment and Remuneration administration
Conducts employment benefit research and Associate induction when required Processes Associate new engagements and any changes to employment conditions and contracts Reconciles monthly billing statements against payroll deductions Assists Associates with any benefit claim issues or concerns Administers the daily transactions and processes Associate loans and applications Monthly activities backing up accounting and payroll from compensation perspective Coordinates monthly salary administration in consultation with payroll provider Coordinates administration of medical scheme, Provident Fund and risk benefit Training and Development support
Schedule’s associates into training sessions on request Updates Associate training records Tracks the implementation of the associate performance development plans (PDPs) Provides support in bi-annual Performance Assessment process and record keeping Recruitment and placement support
Coordinates relevant recruitment events in consultation with Divisional Manager as per policy and procedure Review and update position job descriptions in consultation with relevant Divisional Manager Ensures that the work-space, computer and other equipment, mailbox are ready for the new associate's start day Coordinates new Associate orientation/induction Prepares all engagement documentation and adequate record keeping Negotiates recruitment contracts and fees in consultation with recruitment agencies Requirements:
Matric Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or similar field Valid driver’s license Minimum 3 years working experience in Human resources Advanced computer skills (MS Office suite) Advanced verbal and written communication skills General knowledge of various employment policies, procedures and practices Advanced knowledge of conditions of employment & benefits and other HR programs Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills HR database management and record keeping Conflict resolution and analytical skills 1Advanced knowledge of HR Management, Labor Relations, Training and Development and HR related legislation
