Summary CHENEGA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, LLC. Fort Sill, OK The Automotive Inspector will provide complete initial, online and final inspections of military transport wheeled – automotive vehicles and non-military transport wheeled – automotive vehicles. Responsibilities Responsible for entire vehicle inspection to include the prime mover, power train, transmission, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical subsystems. Performs vehicle classifications and maintains reference library. Responsible for entire vehicle inspection using precision measuring instruments, tools, technical manuals and technical bulletins for specifications. Performs tear down and fault determinations providing data into the system for update of management records. Repairs, rebuild, or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion vehicles. Work involves diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts. Determines and orders repair parts for each work order using correct technical manual. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the repair of tactical vehicles. Possess and maintain a current Oklahoma Driver’s License. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to obtain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance. Knowledge of tactical vehicle maintenance.
