**Automotive Inventory Specialist** **Pontiac, MI** **Monday-Friday** **1st shift 5:30am-7:30 start time/ 1:30pm-3:30pm End time** **1 year contract** **Summary:** The Inventory Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard. **Key Responsibilities:** + Receive, count, and record stock items manually or using a computer. + Shipping and Receiving inventory - Creating Bills of lading + Pack and unpack items for storage. + Verify inventory by comparing physical counts to recorded data and address discrepancies. + Store items in an organized manner to ensure easy access. + Mark stock items with appropriate identification tags or labels. + Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and storage areas per safety standards. + Keep records of stock usage or damage. + Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting damage to supervisors. + Assist and guide other warehouse or stockroom workers. + Determine storage methods and stock locations based on turnover, space, and environmental factors. **Skills:** + Strong verbal and written communication. + Analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Team-oriented and detail-focused. + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and safety procedures. + Forklift certification **Education/Experience:** + High school diploma or GED required. + **8-10 years of relevant experience.** + **Automotive/ Engine/parts inventory required** As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
