Automotive Maintenance Manager
Overview SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Automotive Maintenance Manager for the supervision and management of the automotive maintenance department on the O&M contract in Soto Cano, Honduras.  Essential Job Duties Manages Non-Tactical Vehicle (NTV) maintenance operations and personnel within the Honduras AOR.   Manages operations in a shop environment, coordinates resources to ensure availability of skilled personnel to provide required services.  Manages the Equipment Maintenance team providing Fleet Maintenance activities including Construction Equipment, Light Motor Vehicles, and Power Generation.  Develops ECOD's monitors expenses, opens work orders, and manages warranty claims and reimbursement for safety recalls as necessary.  Assists in investigations regarding equipment performance and operator errors when accidents occur. Train technicians reducing diagnosis time and ensuring proper repairs.  Updates software and technical publications.  Diagnoses, estimates, and repairs cars, trucks, equipment and provides quality control.  Utilizes advanced diagnostic computer equipment/software in the analysis, diagnosis, repair of gasoline and diesel engines and their relate subsystems/components.  Diagnoses, inspects, and repairs air conditioning and heating (HVAC) problems on manual and automatic systems.  Diagnoses and repairs system malfunctions, including drivability and electrical concerns. Utilizes advanced diagnostic computer equipment/software in the analysis, diagnosis, repair of gasoline and diesel engines and their relate subsystems/components.  Specializes in the repair of fuel injection, ignition systems, drivability problems, and all phases of automotive repairs.  Attends necessary classes in order to excel in diagnosing and repairing all of the fleet models.  Understanding of Electric Vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.  Minimum Requirements Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified desired, but sufficient work experience to satisfy the certification requirements will be acceptable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management. Must be able to function in an office setting, answer the phone, use office equipment, etc.   Must be able to endure extreme climate conditions and be able to work in an outdoor setting.   Must possess strong management skills.  Preferred Qualifications Master ASE Technician certified.  Prefer Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university but not required. Can be substituted for Experience in Maintenance Management.   Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not required.  Candidates who previously held a Common Access Card (CAC) are desired. Work Environment Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times. This position requires skills such as walking, running, climbing, crawling, and jumping and other similar physical activities. Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
