Summary This job opportunity is for an AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC, position description D0348P01, within the 177th LRS of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The purpose of this position is to maintain, repair and modify various types of motor vehicles, both gasoline and diesel powered. Responsibilities As an AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC, WG-5823-10, you will: Prepare, maintain and submit maintenance work orders. Inspect general condition of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Diagnose malfunctions by visual or auditory examination methods. Use special power tools, hand tools and a wide variety of test equipment.
