Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and career-minded Auto Mechanic with 3-5 years of experience in steering and suspension repairs, engine repairs, brake repairs, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in using diagnostic tools and performing various repairs. A degree in automotive repair and/or ASE certifications is a plus, but not required.

ResponsibilitiesPerform engine swaps, transmission work, and changing head gaskets.Conduct full frame swaps and deep engine work.Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and repairing issues.Carry out preventive maintenance on vehicles.Conduct electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.Install automotive components and systems.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic.Proficiency in steering and suspension repairs, engine repairs, and brake repairs.Experience with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with preventive maintenance and automotive repair.Self-motivated and career-minded.Additional Skills & QualificationsA two-year degree/diploma in Automotive Repair or related field (preferred but not required).ASE certifications (a plus).Responsible and dependable.Why Work Here?

Our company is a small, family-owned shop soon to be passed onto the 5th generation. We are well-known in the area for providing high-quality service and working on a variety of interesting cars. Work Environment

Our shop operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with an additional hour for the service department. The facility includes segments for Auto, Diesel, Leaf Springs, Fabrication & Collision, and a Paint Booth. The office areas are equipped with heating and air conditioning, and there is heating throughout the shop. Our team consists of about 28 people, with 4-5 peers per department. We prioritize work/life balance, with no weekend or second shift work. We provide scan tools, alignment machines, and other specialty tools. The breakroom is equipped with a TV, fridge, microwaves, and snacks for purchase. We have 31 bays and a state-of-the-art oversized paint booth, handling 400-500 work orders a month. Technicians can work on personal vehicles with supervisor permission. Enjoy ice cream socials, sports drinks on hot days, birthday breakfasts, periodic lunch and learns, and a quarterly bonus plan based on performance metrics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00

There is a quarterly bonus program that we are looking for more information on the tour that we will add to the req.

They do annual raises in April. Bonus program based on sales work per day ( $1200) and a percent of the quarter of what you are working on.
