What is the role we are looking for?
Experienced Automotive Painter/Prepper:
CarShop is seeking an experienced painter/prepper to refinish external body panels and components of all vehicles with cosmetic damage.
What will you do?
The Painter/Prepper is responsible for refinishing all vehicles that are for sale according to the agreed procedures of the Reconditioning Service Department. He/She is to plan, organize, schedule and execute refinishing work in order to prevent bottlenecks in the reconditioning process. The successful candidate will keep all equipment and tools in good working order and required supplies in stock. The painter also alerts the Reconditioning Service Coordinator when problems are discovered which might prevent sold vehicles from being delivered properly.What skills do you bring to the role?
The successful candidate demonstrate the ability to establish priorities within his/her area of responsibility and problem solve in order to complete tasks in a timely manner. Experience in automotive refinishing work is required. The Painter/Prepper is a team player and an effective communicator. The successful candidate will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
