Automotive Quality Liaison

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Liaison - 1st shift to join their team. As a Quality Liaison, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Liaison - 1st shift
**Location:** Hayward, CA
**Pay Rate:** $23.00/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect incoming material for quality defects before it is introduced to the production line.
+ Perform gaging, testing, and process/product audits, per plant and customer requirements.
+ Evaluate and disposition nonconforming materials in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.
+ Measure components/products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring equipment such as callipers and micrometres.
+ Report quality-related information/issues identified at customer locations to the manufacturing facility.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1-3 years of quality experience within the manufacturing industry.
+ Understanding of quality analysis techniques.
+ Computer skills (e-mail, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
