We are seeking an Automotive Services Specialist to expand and maintain our network of Approved Auto Repair facilities. This role will be responsible for developing and improving our strategic relationships with automotive repair business partners for the Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program.
This position is 75% on the road and 25% work from home. The territory covers the state of New Mexico as well as some of West Texas including El Paso, Amarillo and Lubbock.
Job Duties
Performing onsite inspections and evaluations of Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities to ensure compliance with Club Standards and Criteria, contractual obligations, and expectations.
Leading Owners, General Managers, Service Managers, and technical staff of AAR facilities on implementation of policies and procedures that ensure high quality, as well as accurate and complete diagnosis and repair of Members’ vehicles in compliance with American Automobile Association (AAA) Standards.
Collecting past due annual fees owed by AAR facilities.
Investigating and resolving issues between members and AAR facilities regarding accuracy of diagnosis, repair quality, cost of repairs, authorization, etc.
Planning, executing, selling, and closing leads to complete the sales cycle at prospective facilities (applicant identification and processing); contracting new facilities in accordance with company standards to grow and maintain our existing network of automotive repair locations.
Networking to develop, grow, and maintain industry relationships that will open the door to future leads and ensure retention of existing relationships
Providing expert automotive consultation to Club members, AAR facilities, and other Club departments.
Monitoring and identifying facility program compliance and addressing any outstanding issues.
Training Club employees and AAR facility staff on the importance of AAR referrals and proper use of club technology for referrals, tow-in notifications, proprietary club software, etc.
Collaborating with facility management on marketing and co-branding of facilities.
Assisting with other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Experience and Qualifications:
10 years comprehensive, hands-on experience in the automobile repair industry
Account ownership experience with responsibility over initiating and completing the sales cycle preferred
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) "Master Automobile Technician" Certification and C1 Automotive Service Consultant required.
Familiarity with Mitchell1 and All Data estimating and repair software.
Proficiency in using Tablet PC/laptop and mobile operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Safe Business Driving Requirement
Valid Driver License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record, and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance required.
