Lead the implementation of Automotive SPICE compliance on embedded systems projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Lead the project team in the execution of Automotive SPICE deliverables.
· Prioritize, develop plans and execute process improvements to address SPICE gap analysis for the customer project.
· Construct and manage the project documentation using Proprietary tools. Lead the improvement of these tools.
· Execute the Software Quality Audit function for the customer project.
· Develop plans and implement process improvement items for Automotive SPICE.
Integrate with Proprietary PDP and lead changes in the PDP required for Automotive SPICE.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Although the position does not entail direct supervisory responsibilities, process ownership and leadership skills are essential to lead the process improvement.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS:
Thorough understanding of Automotive SPICE standards and their practical applications. Able to apply these standards and make adjustments to established company procedures.
Understanding of the Chrysler customer’s expectations, with respect to Automotive SPICE, is a bonus. Able to promote a culture change, if necessary, in order to successfully implement the process improvements.
TOOLS
The candidate shall have a good working knowledge of state-of-the art embedded systems development tools and how they may be advantageously used to support SPICE. Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential.
EMBEDDED SYSTEMS DESIGN
It is preferred that the candidate has some experience in executing embedded systems design in an automotive production application.
