Purpose of the position
The Automotive Technical Trainer (m/f/d) is responsible for developing and conducting technical training sessions to teach and improve technicians’ skills in the area of vehicle repair. The skills include all aspects of automotive repair from mechanical to electrical systems within a vehicle. The aim is to ensure that the participants can perform their tasks within a vehicle workshop effectively.
Duties and responsibilities
conduct and lead training sessions, webinars, workshops, and on-site training prepare training materials and develop presentations, worksheets, and other training materials evaluate training results and observe and assess the outcomes of training programs and implement improvements
Knowledge and skills
qualification and experience as a technician or mechanic within automotive and in repairing petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric cars deep knowledge in automotive technical field and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly excellent communication and organizational and time management ability to speak in front of groups proven experience as an Automotive Technical Trainer in conducting technical training within a classroom/workshop environment proven ability to develop and update training materials would be a big bonus - however, if you miss trainer skills, we are willing to consider you - as long as you have work experience as a master technical or technical workshop manager at a car dealership a relevant and recognized certification as an automotive technician Certified Technical Trainer (CTT), is good to have but not mandatory High voltage certification is mandatory experience of repairing Jaguar Land Rover vehicles is a benefit but not mandatory
