Job Description:

Duties include inspection, diagnoses, repair, and replacement of general parts and accessories for cars and light trucksPerform fluid exchanges, general inspections and maintenance, brake inspection, battery, and electronics workPerform a variety of other duties: replacing wiper blades, bulbs, performing test drivesFocus on building customer relationships and their current and future needsCommunicate vehicle problems and proposed solutions to customer and/or supervisorKeep a clean and safe working environment

Job Requirements: 

Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendationsPerform all aspects of automotive maintenance and repairTasks include computer diagnostic procedures and repair of engines, cooling systems, emissions systems, brakes, suspension, and performing alignmentsMaintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair by attending schooling and seminarsConduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drivesMaintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our recordsClean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safetyAble to create estimates and advise customers of repairs/maintenance needed

Qualifications:

Automotive repair experience in a professional shop environmentKnowledge of diagnostic tools and equipmentMust have own toolsStrong verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsHigh-level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitudeTeam-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceFollow company procedures and protocol
