Job Description

The Automotive Technician should be able to work on every part of the vehicle. This role will time the process to take apart and put the vehicle back together and optimize the process as they go through the cars.

This is an opportunity to transition from the shop floor to a role where you help determine the labor time needed for dealership technicians. You will be paid by the hour, reducing the pressure to complete numerous jobs for decent pay. The role includes both wrenching and desk work, offering a balanced work experience.

Work Environment

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm or 7:30am - 3:30pm. The shop closes at 3:30pm. The facility is set up like a dealership garage, with a quiet and clean 50k square foot environment. It includes 29 vehicle hoists and a team of 15 - 20 technicians. All tools, including specialty tools, are provided. Each technician has an identical and organized toolbox. PPE is provided and safety is strictly enforced.

This is a Contract position based out of Clawson, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00
