Autonomous Vehicle Training Manager
**Overview:** _Our team has developed a strong culture of safety, professionalism and personal responsibility, we expect all team members to adhere to team standards of conduct._ _The Autonomous Vehicle Training Manager directly oversees the training team and ensures the successful implementation of training programs and processes. Effectively communicates with all levels of Management as well as clients regarding plans, adherence to guidelines established and escalates issues accordingly._ _It is important to maintain a high level of professionalism and responsibility when interacting with internal and external customers, team members and Managers. Safety must be at the forefront of all planning and decision making._ **Transdev is proud to offer:** * Competitive compensation package of minimum $82,368 – maximum $96,096 **Benefits include:** * Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks * Sick days: 5 days * Holidays: 6 days * Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. **Key Responsibilities:** + _Oversee AVTS (Training Supervisors) job functions to support business training needs_ + _Conduct AVTS reviews to ensure steady growth_ + _Verify methods and metrics aimed at team development and growth_ + _Participate hiring process for training leadership roles_ + _Oversee training activities within assigned training programs_ + _Basic knowledge of unassigned training programs_ + _Frequent communication with training and operations Managers for planning purposes_ + _Oversee the development and maintenance of strategic training plans and rosters_ + _Review and advise on training plans based on communicated forecast_ + _Communication of training plans to the customer and the impacted team(s)_ + _Drive adherence to the training plan TAS committed to by working with the different POCs_ + _Ensure maintenance of the Training Rosters_ + _Verification of training needs and insurance of updated training plans_ + _Communication training plans with Operations team_ + _Oversee Transdev training events_ + _Verification of booking of needed training facilities_ + _Verify required vehicles are available and reserved_ + _Verification of Instructional team SOP and training compliance_ + _Travel requirement outside of immediate area: 30%_ + All other duties as assigned **Required Education and Experience:** + _3+ years Management experience_ + _3+ years training experience_ + _Must be at least 21 years old;_ + _High school diploma or equivalency required_ + _BS/BA degree required, or 4 years of relevant job experience_ + _Proficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps (i.e. Gmail, Hangouts, and Driver, including Sheets and Docs); and_ + _Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone (Android preferred by not required)._ + _Previous Public Safety, Emergency and or traffic management experience highly preferred_ **Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):** + _Must have good attention to detail and be able to quickly and concisely describe their thoughts;_ + _Capable of responding quickly and simultaneously to multiple scenarios;_ + _Adapt quickly to new and developing technology;_ + _Cross-functional verbal and written communication and issue escalation;_ + _Must be able to multitask multiple technologies, including communications devices and vehicle status systems_ + _Must be able to work specific shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends, as well as overnight shifts and ability to travel up to 5% of the time;_ + _Excellent written and verbal communication skills;_ + _Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment, in fast-paced, high stress environments; and_ + _Leadership skills to supervise classes with large groups of people._ **Physical Requirements:** + **_Occasional standing, walking, and sitting._** + **_Long periods of sitting._** + **_Use hands to finger; handle or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders._** + **_Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl._** + **_Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds._** **Pre-Employment Requirements:** + All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
