driving experience more enjoyable, connected and safe The Mission of this Role: To create the High-Level Design/Detailed Design of the system that would fulfil the System/SW Requirements and SW Architecture and achieve the desired business outcome. Lead the AUTOSAR architecture to deliver a scalable, reliable, modular, and high-quality product design and guide the software development teams. To develop deep expertise in AUTOSAR stacks in Visteon Product lines (BMS, Cluster, Display, IVI, CDC) and work towards building our technology roadmap. Scope: Responsible for High Level design/detailed design, consult on the requirement gathering process and support the overall software delivery. Provides technical leadership and guidance to software development teams and responsible for building technical competencies of the team How You Will Spend Your Days: Key Accountability % of Time spent Success Measure Scope and estimation Understands and reviews System/Software requirements and SW Architecture to translate them to High Level Design/Detailed Design consistent with the overall technology. Works with the internal teams to arrive at possible solution definition, technical and functional feasibility analysis. Consults and influences the customer, intercepting the business needs and leveraging their knowledge to sell existing solutions. Proposes innovative and business aligned solutions, estimations meeting customer requirements. 10% Effort, memory and cost estimations with a tolerance of 5% Analysing and developing Design solutions Responsible for specifying architectural/design requirements, do POC of new designs when needed, perform DAR, define, and maintain the AUTOSAR architecture. Review Detailed Designs to confirm to the architecture. Refines software architecture and Design during implementation. 20% Schedule adherence, Internal sign-off on the system. Continuous review of the architecture for improvements Reusability in architecture and & HLD across projects (min 70%). Reusability in Detailed Design across projects (min 50%). Reusability in configurations across projects. Product Backlog Grooming Performs technical feasibility of the features to be implemented and gives the directions to groom the backlog along with the Delivery Teams/Architects/Scrum Leads. 20% 100% groomed backlogs with out any change in scope Development, testing and implementation. Drives technical design decisions in scrum teams. Validates and ensures alignment with overall architecture view, provides consultations on complex coding and guides complex deployment solutions. Provides consultation to the teams on test strategy. Analyses/debugs critical defects and proposes corrective/preventive actions for improved code quality 20% Minimum or no issues related to the HLD and Design Technical Reviews Perform Technical reviews of the Design/Code/Test Cases to ensure first-time right-on product and process quality. 20% <20% defects leaked out of Software Development. No Non-Compliance due to ASPICE process Knowledge management and process improvement Evaluates and selects appropriate software/hardware and suggests integration methods. Creates criteria and evaluation matrix for products/technologies and recommends solutions. Works to simplify and streamline processes with automation and optimization. Creates knowledge/certification artifacts and their evaluation criteria. Mentors the teams in building competency, guides or provides technical training /workshops in AUTOSAR domain. 10% Percentage of effort Saved. Number of reusable artifacts created. Number of workshops/technical competency sessions. Key Experience required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred) 8+ years of experience in software product life cycle and embedded software development. 4+ years of experience in delivering scalable Architectural/Design solutions. Experience with UML, SysML, IBM Rhapsody for embedded software development. Experience in BSW development using commercial (Vector/EB/ETAS) or an in-house stack. Experience in Comm/Diag/NVM/OS/RTE integrations/configurations. Experience in Complex Device Driver/Software Component development is a plus. Experience in MCAL configurations / BSW Safety/ MCAL Safety is a plus. Experience in developing software in compliance with ASPICE/ISO26262 standards. Experience in performing in Fault Tree Analysis for critical defects.
