AutoZone 2025 Spring Internship – Inventory Accounting
As a 2025 AutoZone Spring Intern supporting the Inventory Accounting Team, you will play a critical role in analyzing store inventory processes. With your background knowledge as an Accounting Major, you will gain hands-on experience that will support and enhance your skills in financial analysis, compliance, and strategic decision-making. What our Top 100 Internship Program Offers: + Spring Semester Part-Time Internship between January 2 7 – May 16 , 2025 + Valuable Work Experience + Realistic, Meaningful Job Preview + Cross-functional Job Shadowing What You Will Do: + Prepare weekly store inventory packets and communicate with the LP and Store Operations team to research and resolve issues + Analyze store inventory results for any variations + Upload the manual store inventory schedule for the upcoming fiscal year + Prepare reports to identify and forecast store inventory needs + Process and manage store inventory date changes + Reconcile weekly entries to the Mainframe and ensure accuracy in the General Ledger + Review store supply expenses and follow up for corrections + Process weekly inventory adjustments and order changes + Research and respond to inventory-related questions from the field + Prepare complex journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies + Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze accounts Qualifications: + Majors we are Searching for: + A ccounting + School Requirements:  + Must be a current Junior , Senior or Graduate student enrolled into a college or university at the time of Spring Semester 2025 Internship Program (Jan uary 2 7 – May 16 , 2025) + Intern must be attending classes while working as an intern for the Spring Semester + Must be able to live in Memphis or adjacent counties for the duration of the internship and be fully in-person at work during the internship. No relocation or commuter assistance will be provided. + Job Requirements: + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required + Knowledge in SQL and SAS is preferred + Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills required + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must + Ability to complete work in a specified timeframe + Ability to succeed in a team environment Deadline to Apply : Friday, January 10
