AV ADMINISTRATOR SpaceX is looking for an AV Administrator with strong knowledge and experience in world class AV service delivery. Employee collaboration tools are key to keeping our business running as the company continues to grow. This role will support AV hardware and software, build runbooks to train helpdesk teams, and be seen as the owner of AV at SpaceX, driving best practices for use and support of our AV systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Plan, manage and maintain AV projects and events to the highest standards. + Provide detailed project delivery documentation and manage internal/external partners to execute AV projects and events. + Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced AV technologies and research new solutions. + Create schematics, elevations, and other deliverable plans. + Document and maintain standard operating procedures, best practices, and customer service guidelines. + Support AV solutions company-wide locally, remotely and traveling to different SpaceX sites when required. + Support internal events around SpaceX offices from an audio-visual standpoint, including out of hours event support and traveling to different SpaceX sites when required. + Plan new equipment installation and configuration including Office Expansion projects. + Serve as an escalation point for the IT services team and the AV techs. + Capture and maintain equipment inventory data. + Responds promptly to requests for technical support via email, ticketing, and chat as needed. + Responsible for troubleshooting AV hardware and applications, providing technical support and problem solving. + Manage software-based monitoring tool and improve alerting for front line support. + Participates in on-boarding and training team members. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + 2+ years of professional experience building, deploying and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, software, and IP networks within an enterprise environment for AV support. + Q-SYS Level 1 Certification. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Experience supporting Microsoft and Apple technologies. + Experience working with construction CAD drawings, Power/Data line drawings, signal flow, AV concepts. + Familiarity with Logitech, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Enterprise, QSC, Shure and similar technologies. + Q-SYS Level 2 and Control Certifications. + Experience with Dante and AES67 protocols. + LED wall installation experience. + Some computer programming knowledge (Lua, Python, Go, JavaScript). + Experience splicing and terminating various cable types. + Experience with sound and acoustic design/engineering. + Expertise in customer service, problem solving and teamwork abilities. + Working knowledge of video conferencing solutions and support. + Experience in both MacOS and Windows environments. + Experience with live audio and video production experience. + Experience with Microsoft Teams room hardware. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: + Must be physically fit enough to regularly lift up to 30 lbs. for duties such as delivering computers, unpacking and rack-mounting equipment, etc. + Must be willing to travel (<20%). + Must be flexible to work various shift patterns (i.e. early morning to afternoon, or afternoon to later evening). + Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Level I: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year Level II: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
