The AV Manager will be responsible for the operations and supervision of the AV Team.  Performs day to day AV support operations in addition to managing the AV team.  The AV team is responsible for all Audio and Video technology in the property – Conventions, Hotel, Casino, and Spa.

Responsibilities Leads the team by example as a lead AV techWorks with upper management to develop plans, forecasts, and budgets for the I.T. departmentCreates and manages escalation procedures and ensures service levels are maintainedDocuments, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure resolution in a timely mannerIdentifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problemsDevelops AV tech schedules, prioritizes projects, support calls and resources for installation and supportCollaborates with management to develop standardsConducts and reports on research and procurement of relevant technologyCreates and manages proceduresDocuments and trains on all work performedPrepares progressive reports for all work performedWorks with AV Team to install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, applications, equipment and systems.Trains new AV techs on all systems and provides first line of support for questionsEnsure all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventionsFollow and maintain proper safety practicesOther duties as assigned my management.

 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

 

Qualifications Must be at least 21 years oldMust be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming licenseMust obtain OSHA 30 certification in the first 90 days 2 years supervisory experience5 years AV Technical Support experienceAble to prioritize and get projects done in a demanding environmentExperience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems, low voltage, voice/data cabling, structured cabling, fiber optic, or related systems strongly preferredMust be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, climb ladders and scaffolding, lift in excess of 50 pounds, work in high places, and work in small cramped placesAbility to work long periods on their feet
