Description Are you an audio-visual wizard who can transform any event into a sensory masterpiece? As our Audio/Visual Technician, you will be the mastermind behind the scenes, ensuring flawless execution of sound, lighting, and video systems for a variety of live events, broadcasts, and corporate productions. With your deep technical expertise and creative flair, you will play a crucial role in bringing our client's visions to life, creating experiences that resonate with audiences on every level. + Set up, calibrate, and operate cutting-edge audio systems for live events, conferences, concerts, broadcasts, and recordings. Ensure crystal-clear sound, impeccable microphone placement, and flawless acoustics, even in the most challenging environments. + Configure, operate, and troubleshoot advanced video equipment, including projectors, LED screens, cameras, and video switchers, to deliver high-definition, immersive visual experiences. + Design and implement dynamic lighting setups that enhance the atmosphere and energy of events. Utilize specialized lighting rigs, control boards, and automated fixtures to create captivating visual effects. + Lead the technical setup and breakdown of all audio, visual, and lighting equipment for events. Manage cables, equipment storage, and inventory, ensuring every detail is in place for seamless execution. + Provide real-time troubleshooting during live events, identifying and resolving technical issues on the spot to minimize downtime and maintain a flawless experience for clients and audiences. + Work closely with event coordinators, directors, and production teams to understand the specific needs and vision for each event. Ensure all technical requirements are met while staying aligned with the creative direction. + Regularly inspect, maintain, and calibrate AV equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs when needed. Requirements + Extensive experience with audio equipment (mixing boards, microphones, speakers, audio processors), video systems (projectors, LED screens, cameras, video switchers), and lighting setups (rigs, control boards, automated lights). + Proven ability to manage AV systems for various events, including corporate conferences, live performances, trade shows, and broadcast productions. + Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve technical challenges during live events. + A meticulous eye for detail to ensure all audio, visual, and lighting elements come together seamlessly to create a cohesive and polished production. + A creative approach to designing and implementing technical solutions that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of events. + Ability to work well within a team environment, communicating effectively with event planners, directors, and other technicians to ensure smooth coordination. + Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and challenges. + Certifications in relevant AV systems, audio engineering, lighting design, or video production (e.g., AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist, or similar) are a plus.
