The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates, interviewing, closing, and processing for hire new employees.  The Sr. TA Specialist will maintain a pipeline of candidates and be a subject matter expert in rehab recruiting for the region they support. The Sr. TA Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify current and future hiring needs. 

 

Develop, implement, and evaluate cost-effective recruiting methods both internally and externally using all resources available and tracking results. Ensure positions get the most candidate exposure. Generate and maintain a diverse pool of qualified prospects to provide a qualified applicant flow to fill open positions.  Create and sustain effective methods and processes to identify the most qualified candidates for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, support, and corporate positions.  Be an advisor to hiring managers on market trends, compensation analysis, and best interview practices.  Provide feedback to Avamere Rehab clinical directors on prospects to help with decision-making. Be the primary point of contact for the candidates. Collect and document information on candidates with regards to qualifications, motivations, phone interview and compensation requirements. Be an expert organizer. Arrange interviews by coordinating candidate and hiring manager schedules; arranges travel and lodging when necessary. Be a skilled closer.  Negotiate start dates, employment offers, sign-on bonuses and/or relocation with management approval. Maintains accurate ongoing candidate information and recruitment process in the Applicant Tracking System and CRM. Complete reference checks, license verifications, and hire candidates in the ATS. Work closely with our Human Resources Department, Payroll Department and Benefits Administrator when offering positions. Network, establish, and maintain relationships within the health care industry. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of our job descriptions, qualifications, schedules, rehab/long term care industry in order to recruit and represent Avamere Rehab effectively. Build relationships with educational institutions and attend job fairs.  Update recruiting knowledge by participating in local healthcare recruitment association, recruitment education conferences, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks and other professional organizations. Participate in monthly recruitment meetings as required. Participate in social media; professional profile on Linkedin.com, posting job openings on social media websites, pushing information out to the marketing department for other social media websites. Rapidly and effectively respond to the urgent recruiting needs of internal clients. Develop recruitment plans for hard-to-fill positions or urgent on-call hiring needs. Consistently recruit a total of 10 or more hires per month of which 5 or more are full-time or part-time hires. Responsible for completing two recruitment projects per year with the direction of the President. Demonstrate flexibility with assisting other departments and recruiting teams for the Avamere Family of Companies as needed. Assist with preparation of materials as needed. Attend company meetings as requested. Assist with other activities as directed by Director of TA

 

 

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Recruiter certification. Verifiable 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the healthcare industry; positions including development of resources, cold calling, candidate screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and outreach recruiting. An excellent driving record is required. The ability to lift up to 50 pounts on an occasional basis is needed. The ability to travel up to 25% of the work year. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong sense of professionalism. The ability to work successfully as part of a team.
