Major Responsibilities:
· Provides IP based telecommunications design, performance engineering and architectural deployment management for large scale voice solutions.
· Provides analysis and diagnosis of complex voice and contact center solutions.
· Builds simulated solutions in test labs to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
· Generates and documents reusable intellectual capital in the form of standard customer deployment architectures.
· Leverages vendors and contributes to virtual teams.
· Assists business unit owners with advanced services requests and related IPT network management applications.
· Provides backup and tier 3 technical support services.
· Disaster recovery and business continuity planning and design
· Leverage and generate applicable technical "best practices" design guides.

Experience with configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Avaya Aura Contact Center Elite, Avaya Aura Communications Manager, Avaya Aura Session and System Manager, AAEP, AES, ACCCM, CMS, G650, G450.
Working knowledge of Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco UCCE, voice gateways, SIP trunking.
Education & Experience:
· College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering.
· Avaya/Cisco certifications considered a plus.
· Five years direct responsibility and vendor supervision of large scale telecommunications systems
· Seven years hands on experience with TDM and VoIP telecommunications systems.
· Experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
· Position will be based in New Britain, CT
