Aviation Maintenance Technician-2nd shift

As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of civil aviation articles by performing maintenance, inspections, and alterations with precision and expertise.

Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd shift, M-F
Pay: $21.50

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct maintenance and alterations in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, Airworthiness Directives, and industry standards.

Perform detailed inspections, including preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final reviews.

Provide clear verbal and written updates on repair progress.

Apply and handle sealants, adhesives, and perform advanced testing using specialized equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 5S principles.

Utilize ERP systems for labor recording, operation closures, and tracking.

Access engineering documents through tools such as Sentyrile and ProWorks.

Read and interpret schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation.

Support team meetings (e.g., QRQC, stand-ups) and deliver on-the-job training for team members.

Ensure safety compliance and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and tooling as directed.

Provide support in other operational areas as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

Strong math skills and understanding of measurement units.

Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.

Basic understanding of manufacturing and aviation processes.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical specifications.

Familiarity with computer systems for accessing documentation and records.

Completion of FAA-required training.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing or aviation maintenance environment.

Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.



Pay Details: $21.50 per hour
