Our St. Paul, Minnesota (MN) office is looking for an Airport Planner with 4+ years of experience to join our Aviation team.
Our Twin Cities Aviation team has experienced sustained practice growth and is seeking someone creative and driven to develop and manage airport projects for a growing team serving a strong market. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to not only manage project production and directly interface with our clients, but become a trusted advisor for our clients, mentor younger staff, and help grow our Aviation team.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will provide support to multiple airport projects across the country leading the analysis and reports for airport planning, programming, and implementation. A candidate should have substantial experience with development of Airport Master Plans, Airport Layout Plans, and other aviation technical analyses. Additionally, the selected candidate will aid in business development, marketing and promotion efforts, and help manage relationships with key clients.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 4 or more years of experience in Aviation PlanningPE or AICP Certification (or plan to take PE or AICP exam)Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars and OrdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively and in a positive mannerMarketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work a plusExperience with AutoCAD preferred Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
