We have a great opportunity for an Aviation Repair Technician in Sunrise, Florida. You will perform routine, non-routine, and preventative maintenance on all parts of the aircraft according to Component Maintenance Manual and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

\r\n\r\n

What Will You Be Doing?

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tResponsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, modifications, and reassembly of a variety of aircraft Radio/Electrical and Electrical Mechanical components.\r\n\tEnsure that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer supplications and regulatory requirements.\r\n\tUse appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.\r\n\tRecord information and accomplish the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection and Quality Policies and Procedures.\r\n\tComply with all safety directives and maintain a clean and safe work environment. \r\n\tPerform troubleshooting on analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits. \r\n\tTest and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.\r\n\r\n\r\n

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\r\n\tMinimum of 3 years’ working experience (Aerospace preferred).\r\n\tA&P License is highly preferred but not required\r\n\tAble to read and interpret schematics, drawings, manufacturer and airline instructions, service bulletins, drawings, engineering orders, component maintenance manual (CMM) and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement, or modification.\r\n\tProficient with the use of oscilloscope, voltmeter, function generator, pulse generator, and battery simulator.\r\n\tMust be capable of using standard tools to include, but not limited to; screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets and sockets, torque drivers and wrenches, multi-meters, soldering irons, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, flow meters, psi gauges, temperature measurement, safety wire pliers, or any other tool required for a particular maintenance function.\r\n\tAbility to multi-task and work on several types of components and to prioritize work without close supervision.\r\n\tFlexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week if needed.\r\n\tBasic computer skills, MS Word and Excel.\r\n\tMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\r\n\tFluent in English (able to speak, read and write).\r\n\tFCC License (preferred but not required).\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity in Sunrise, Florida.

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00/per hour, occasional OT may be required to complete urgent/time sensitive projects.

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
