Avionics/Elec Tech II - 2nd Shift

Summary: Seeking Avionics/Electrical Technician II for operational testing, troubleshooting, and installation of aircraft systems on the 2nd shift.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Four years experience in avionics/electrical field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two years related experience.

Preferred Skills:

A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license.

FCC certification.

NCATT certification.

Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.

Install and test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications ensuring defect-free systems.

Ensure quality repairs of malfunctioning systems through effective troubleshooting.

Repair or replace defective components using splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.

Operate test equipment to evaluate performance and reliability of electronic systems.

Comply with FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and safety regulations.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
