Summary: Seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician II with expertise in avionics systems operational testing, troubleshooting, and installation.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Preferred Skills:
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
FCC certification
NCATT certification
Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations
Responsibilities:
Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems ensuring quality and efficiency
Repair or replace defective components using acceptable practices like splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring
Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability
Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations
Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
