Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician

Job Description

Avionics Technicians will be working on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters on their Part 21 Assembly.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.Verify parts requests and read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions.Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, and complex, specialized aircraft test equipment.Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with other employees, members of supervision, and others as required in their duties.Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, while wearing required safety equipment.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.2+ years of Electrical/Avionic aviation production experience is preferred.Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.General overall knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsMilitary experience will be considered.Experience with avionic troubleshooting, functional testing, avionics systems, wiring, wire harness, avionics installation, avionics repair, and avionics troubleshooting.Familiarity with aircraft electronics, aircraft maintenance, aircraft assembly, soldering, and coaxial cabling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Final assembly helicopter line or flight line. 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available. No tools required. Safety equipment is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
