Avionics Lead Technician
Our client in the aerospace industry is seeking an Avionics Lead Technician to join their team. As an Avionics Lead Technician, you will be part of the Avionics Integration team supporting the Artemis programs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. **Job Title: Avionics Lead Technician** **Location: Kennedy Space Center, FL** **Pay Range: $40-45/h + Benefits** **Key Responsibilities** + Supervise and guide technicians on the installation of avionic components, ensuring reliability and alignment with specifications. + Perform inspections, testing, and verification of avionics assemblies based on technical models and specifications. + Troubleshoot and resolve avionic system issues, including necessary modifications or maintenance. + Oversee cable harness configurations and installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline field installations and improve installation processes. **Requirements** + High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. + Due to government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is necessary for this role. + Minimum of 5 years' experience in avionics or electrical engineering, ideally in aerospace or similar industries. + Familiarity with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001). + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and solid communication skills in English. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on groundbreaking advancements in human spaceflight. + Collaborative team environment with opportunities for continuous improvement. + Competitive pay rate and reimbursement for travel outside of home base. + Opportunity for contract-to-hire position. + Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.
