**Description** Job Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Troubleshoots and repairs existing systems. • Installs, wires, and mounts avionics systems and accessories in aircraft. • Receives customer orders from Avionics Manager. • Analyzes details of installation. • Determines overall project solutions and methods. • Determines correct interface of equipment being installed. • Pulls appropriate parts. • Creates or otherwise obtains proper wiring diagrams per specifications. • Fabricates equipment shelves per customer specifications. • Fabricates and installs antenna doublers. • Modifies existing instrument panels or fabricates new panels. • Properly programs / configures installed equipment. • Completes configuration sheets and all other paperwork required for FAA approval of the installation. • Performs final testing using appropriate test equipment. • Coordinates customer installation projects with various departments to ensure projects are completed within deadlines. • Maintains effective relationships with management, staff and other departments to deliver high quality service to customers and the organization. • Promotes a safety culture that supports and encourages employees to go beyond the call of duty to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and are comfortable intervening to correct inappropriate behaviors and concerns. • Demonstrate a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participate as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change. • Provide customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service always. • Adhere to safety standards, policies, and expectations. **Skills** Avionics installation, Wire harness **Top Skills Details** Avionics installation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Must Have - 3 plus years of Avionic Install experience Prefer - They prefer Garmin but will look at candidates that don't have that experience Test: Will look at candidates with 1 year of Install experience. **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
