Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in avionic systems on corporate aircraft. The ideal candidate will have modification experience and must own their tools, which should be shadowed and etched. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Ka Band and Proline 21 systems.

ResponsibilitiesInstall Ka Band and Proline 21 systems on corporate aircraft.Perform electrical installations, modifications, and repairs.Troubleshoot and repair avionic systems.Ensure all work is completed with professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.Work collaboratively with a team of 8-10 mechanics under the guidance of a lead.Essential Skills2+ years of experience with avionic systems on corporate aircraft.Modification experience with avionic systems.Ability to perform testing, troubleshooting, installation, or upgrades of avionics equipment.Experience with Proline 21 and Ka Band installations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Avance L5 is a plus.Experience with Proline 21 and Ka-band is highly preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is an indoor, clean, climate-controlled corporate business jet repair facility. There are two hangars: one for Challenger aircraft and the other for Global and Lear aircraft. Professionalism, cleanliness, and safety are paramount as customers are often present with their aircraft during repairs. You will work in teams of 8-10 mechanics under one lead, with about 10-12 leads reporting to a PM.

This is a Contract to hire position based out of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $52.00
